Help with the forecast, not just the software.
Most questions about a financial model aren't really about buttons — they're about whether an assumption is sensible. We answer both kinds, and we've built the product to catch the common problems before you have to ask.
The product catches most of it
The fastest support is the question you never had to ask. Three assists run inside the product, all of them deterministic and rules-based — instant, auditable, and no data sent to an external model.
- Forecast Startersuggests the revenue streams and expenses your business type usually needs, so you're not staring at an empty table
- Assumption Sanity-Checkflags a services business with no payroll, implausible margins, or cash going negative, each linked to the page that fixes it
- Overview Narratorexplains what your own numbers show, in plain English, so you can tell whether the model matches your intuition
Written for founders, not accountants
Our guides assume no finance background and don't pad themselves out with jargon. They cover the four things people actually get stuck on.
- How to forecast revenue — choosing between the four stream types, with worked examples
- Reading a cash-flow forecast — what each section means and why timing matters
- Business plan outline — the 18 sections and what belongs in each
- Investor deck checklist — 14 slides and what goes on them
They're free and require no account. Read them before you start and the first model goes considerably faster.
Control over what leaves your account
Account owners manage AI features and AI data-sharing from Security & Compliance settings. Turn them off and the product still works — the deck falls back to a built-in deterministic writer, and the forecast assists were never sending anything anyway.
Everything you build is exportable: XLSX and CSV for every statement, a combined print-ready Forecast Report, and a real PPTX for the deck.
Common questions
-
We'll happily tell you whether you've modelled something the way the engine expects, and point out structural mistakes. Whether your growth rate is realistic for your market is a judgement only you and your advisers can make.
-
Yes. Account owners control AI features and AI data sharing in Security & Compliance settings. With them off, deck drafting uses the built-in deterministic writer and nothing is sent to an external model.
-
Your work saves as you go, so you can leave a model half-built and come back. The Sanity-Check will tell you what's still missing, and the relevant guide usually covers the rest.
